Goth-themed party? Black being your favourite colour? A black pizza base won’t go unnoticed.
50 gr sourdough starter
50 gr water
100 gr plain flour
1 small pinch of salt
8 black olives (oven baked, stone removed)
2 tablespoon tomato sauce
1/2 mozzarella ball
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 medium mushrooms (champignon)
2 slices of cooked ham
1 clove of garlic
Plain flour for dusting
METHOD
Add the water, flour and salt to the sourdough starter, mix well and rest in a bowl covered with clingfilm for 6-12 hours.
Chop the black olives in a blender until they form a paste and add to the pizza dough mixing well. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to make a circle (about 30 cm diameter). Place the circle onto a lightly oiled baking tray (or silicone tin).
Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the mushrooms cut into slices, add the garlic, chopped finely, and cook for 3 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and cook for another 3 minutes on a medium heat, then set aside.
Tear the cooked ham and mozzarella into pieces (or cut into pieces) and scatter over the centre of the pizza.
Pre-heat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius and bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes until crispy. The base will go very dark and very savoury.
