Gluten-free and Yeast-free Chickpea and Avocado Bread

Gluten free chickpea bread Energya Ltd

Forget gluten-free bread from the supermarket: you can make your own in about half an hour. This bread is so tasty and satisfying it’s like a whole meal.

INGREDIENTS

150 gr chickpea flour (gram flour)

150 gr sour cream

½ avocado, ripe

½ teaspoon salt

1.5 teaspoons baking powder

vegetable oil for cooking

METHOD

Mix together the flour, sour cream, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Mash the avocado either with a fork or with a blender, then add it to the mixture.

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

Grease a loaf tin with a little vegetable oil and pour the bread mixture in.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through (check with a toothpick in the centre of the bread – it must come out clean).
