Sundays used to be boring – not any more! Thanks to Magnum and Regent Street W1, London was painted black and pink to celebrate their 25th year and the new Magnum Black (my favourite!) and Magnum Pink.
Music, dance, fashion shows and free Magnum tastings were all happening on Regent Street and, although the weather was less than tropical, ice cream fans including myself were undeterred and queued patiently for their treat. The queue was so efficiently organised that you only needed to wait less than 10 minutes to get your Magnum, which is impressive considering the masses of shoppers in the area eager to try the new ice creams.
I have to say that Magnum are very generous hosts – and they rewarded the best pictures on the day with a secret twitter invitation to their VIP bus where pink bubbly, Magnum ice cream and hand pampering were on offer.
I Am Team #MagnumBlack
Not only did I enjoy the delicious Magnum Black with its distinctive espresso flavour, but I could not resist having a luxurious hand treatment in the Magnum VIP bus from Monica at Crabtree and Evelyn. Monica’s top beauty tip: exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! Thanks Monica, I shall do!
It was also lovely to meet influential fashion blogger Boy Meets Fashion, who has been featured in The Telegraph, The Huffington Post and Cosmopolitan.
Happy birthday Magnum!
