Beethoven Concerto at Cadogan Hall

By Paola Bassanese

A wonderful concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 25th February 2014 at the Cadogan Hall featuring Freddy Kempf (conductor/piano), Clio Gould (violin) and Tim Gill (cello).

The programme included Beethoven’s Fidelio Overture, Triple Concerto and Symphony No. 7.

The Triple Concerto was excellent and the musician’s bravura was exceptional.

The last piece, the Seventh Symphony was used in the film The King’s Speech.

As my first time at Cadogan Hall, I was completely blown away both by the formidable venue and by the orchestra’s fantastic performance.
