Pestana Chelsea Hotel is a sparkling jewel a short distance from the King’s Road. With stunning views over Battersea Park on one side and Battersea Power Station to the other, you could spend your entire stay just looking at the views (I particularly enjoyed taking endless pictures of the sunset).
But staying in your room, as comfortable and stylish as it is, would not do this hotel any justice: on the lower ground floor the hotel houses a stunning spa with swimming pool, steam room and sauna. A comprehensive menu of treatments is also on offer.
I stayed for one night courtesy of lastminute.com and enjoyed every minute. The swimming pool is small but perfectly formed with relaxing purple spotlights shining some cooling and calming rays onto the water. Colour is obviously very important in the design of the spa and the hotel: blue and purple lights feature in both the guest rooms’ bathroom and in the spa area.
The steam room has the traditional starry lights on the ceiling which change colour through the day.
The hotel is popular with international tourists who travel to London for extensive shopping.
Great location and stunning facilities, I would recommend it you are visiting London in style.
