Zen China in Westminster is a true find. I was meeting a friend on the South Bank and wanted to avoid the crowds and tourist traps.
The best thing about Zen China is that is on the upper floor of County Hall so unless you have made a reservation you wouldn’t normally see it from street level.
The decor inside is beautiful and the food is gorgeous. I had shredded duck wrapped in lettuce, which arrived elegantly arranged on a plate with a decorative orchid.
The service was attentive and we were not rushed which was refreshing.
The views over Big Ben and the Thames are stunning, really worth a visit.
