I recently stayed at the Grayshott Spa in Surrey to finally indulge in a massage in serene surroundings. The spa is next to a National Trust park and you can go for energising walks before tucking into delicious, healthy food all prepared by the chef in accordance to the spa’s healthy eating guidelines.
My massage with therapist Faye was wonderful: I had the Rose Indulgence massage with rose and palmarosa oil. It also features the application of warm Himalayan salt compresses which I called “little parcels of happiness”.
The combination of being away from London, having a luxurious room with views over the golf course, the lovely massage and the excellent customer service made all the worries go away.
If travelling by train you will need a taxi from Haslemere station; I used Courtesy Cabs, great service.
