Aqua is one of those places that is good all year round. Of course the main attraction is the roof terrace in the summer, so in winter you simply tuck in to great and tasty food.
The tapas selection last night was excellent: as a group we ordered a few dishes to stop the munchies in their tracks.
I had the mussels in a fragrant lemon and garlic bath which were succulent and delicious. I also tried the jijas or Spanish meatloaf with chilli wrapped in pancetta and topped with a poached egg. So tasty and with so many different layers of flavour.
Service was impeccable and all the food was prepared promptly and with great care.
A fantastic night out.
