Cote Brasserie in Parkway, Camden, celebrated its first birthday on 26th March 2013.
Manager Adrian and staff members Amanda, Pier and Paola treated everybody like royalty but with a friendly twist.
The atmosphere was buzzing and warm at the same time and the canapes were to die for.
We particularly enjoyed: smoked duck with gherkin and sweet red onion, oliveĀ tapenade on goat’s cheese, flatbread pizza, mushroom risotto, scallop on a pea puree with bacon. Then the desserts: chocolate mousse and creme caramel. My friends and I all agreed that the creme caramel was the best dessert we’ve ever had.
I asked the manager, Adrian, to explain more about the food and the choice of menus: he explained that specials and set menus change every fortnight and they take into account the feedback from clients. The whole menu gets a seasonal overhaul.
We enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed on for dinner – we had mussels and steak tartare, everything was delicious.
I warmly recommend a visit.
