The Albany pub is conveniently located opposite Great Portland Street Station.
The venue is great for a chilled out drink, a party or a lazy lunch like my friends and I had.
I chose the haddock and chips with peas: the batter was very crispy and the fish deliciously flaky, the chips were cooked perfectly and the peas added a bit of sweetness.
My friends had sausages and mash and fishcakes with (massive!) potato wedges. They all enjoyed their meal.
The service is efficient and attentive: when a friend asked for more coleslaw, this was no trouble at all and soon an extra helping appeared.
A lovely Saturday afternoon.
