Summer Smoothies Recipes: Super Smoothies to the Rescue!

Here are some simple smoothie recipes to help you get some energy in the morning and curb the cravings during the day.

Recipe 1: avocado smoothie (courtesy of @juliaerial)

Blitz together:

1 avocado
1 x 1inch piece of ginger
1 handful of fresh spinach
juice of half a lemon
1 tablespoon natural yoghurt
apple juice

1 bunch of fresh mint leaves

Recipe 2: power smoothie

1 inch slice tofu,
a handful of hazelnuts,
1 teasp sunflower seeds,
1 teasp Maca powder,
4 -6 tablespoons soya milk (depending on thickness)



Recipe 3: chestnut and coconut smoothie

Blitz together:
2 tbsp coconut cream,
8 cooked chestnuts,
6 tbsp soya milk,
1 tbs Maca powder
