Paola Bassanese is founder, director and lead therapist at Energya Ltd. Energya Ltd was founded in 2006 after an inspirational trip to Machu Picchu in Peru and a trekking trip to Brazil.

TV expert on massage, wellbeing writer on health, massage, yoga and nutrition, public speaker.

 

Paola holds a 1st Class Hons degree in Political Science, a Master in International Relations, speaks 5 languages and has written for Ovum, The Economist and the Financial Times.

 

In 2010 Paola won the ICNM award as Best Practitioner of Complementary Medicine and in 2011 she won a special award from the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Trieste for  services to industry.

 

She met Peter Jones from the BBC programme Dragons’ Den with his protege Kirsty Henshaw.

Paola Bassanese was a high-flying civil servant (Grade 7/Band A) and worked at HM Treasury when Gordon Brown was Chancellor of the Exchequer.  She also worked at the Cabinet Office in the eGovernment Unit.

Since 2009 Paola Bassanese has been a regular contributor for the Health and Wellbeing website Wahanda and is the top therapist listed in their directory. In this picture, Paola has been photographed with CEO Lopo Champalimaud, Judy Johnson and Jesko von Dessauer.
