In the Daily Mail, a news item stood out on 24th January: among the news about the Olympics, there was a heard-warming story about Sue Kent who has become the official massage therapist for the British Paralympics Team.
Sue, who is based near Swansea, started working as a massage therapist three years ago and treats clients using her feet. Quoting from the article, “I hope I inspire other disabled people and show that they don’t need to do a job that’s just about sitting behind a desk with a computer.”
“I also wanted to raise the profiles of disabilities in a different way the more people see disability, the more normal it becomes and the less people will be stupid.”
